WHAT ARE THE DATES OF HARVEST ON THE HARBOR 2016?
Harvest on the Harbor will take place in Portland, Maine from Thursday, October 20 through Sunday, October 23.
ARE THERE AGE RESTRICTIONS TO ATTEND HARVEST EVENTS?
YES. You must be 21 years or older to attend. Please be prepared to show photo ID before entering an event. Children four and younger are permitted in strollers or baby carriers to Shop on the Harbor, Maine Lobster Chef Celebration, Market on the Harbor, and Chef Showcase only. Other events are inappropriate for small children.
WHEN AND WHERE ARE TICKETS FOR HARVEST ON THE HARBOR 2016 AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE?
Tickets are on sale NOW at harvestontheharbor.com. Tickets may be available for purchase at the door, depending on availability.
CAN I BUY A PASS TO ATTEND MORE THAN ONE EVENT?
No, tickets are sold individually for each event.
IS THERE ASSIGNED SEATING AT HARVEST ON THE HARBOR EVENTS?
Most events do not have formal seating. However, seated events may have reserved seating for sponsors and special guests.
WHERE DO THE EVENTS TAKE PLACE?
Most of the events will take place at The Portland Company located at 58 Fore Street. The details will be noted on each individual event ticket (including the specific building or the address of any alternate locations).
ARE THERE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR THOSE WITH FOOD ALLERGIES?
Due to the scale of this food festival, we cannot accommodate alternative options for food allergies. Many of our tasting events will offer a variety of food preparations to try. Guests are solely responsible for making selections and checking directly with exhibitors or chefs regarding any allergy questions or concerns.
ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE?
Tickets are non-refundable unless the event/s are cancelled by event organziers. Should this occur, a refund will be issued within five business days of the cancellation. Should the event/s be cancelled as a result of natural or unnatural disasters outside the control of event organizers, refunds will not be issued.
WHAT DO I DO IF I LOSE MY TICKETS?
Ticket receipts and confirmations will be emailed to you. You can either print your event ticket or have it available on your mobile device to gain entry.
ARE THERE ANY EVENTS THAT WILL BE OPEN TO NON-TICKET HOLDERS?
There are not. All Harvest on the Harbor events require a ticket for entry/participation.

WHERE CAN I PARK FOR THE EVENT?
Parking for the Seafood Soiree will be available at O’Maine Studios located at 54 Danforth Street. Harvest Hop parking will be available on the street. For all other Harvest events, parking will be available to ticket holders at Ocean Gateway for $5 to all ticket holders during all Portland Company events on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, opening one hour before and closed one hour after each session. There will also be street parking and public lots in the surrounding areas. Limited, handicapped parking will be available on site at Portland Company.
IS THE EVENT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes, 58 Fore Street | The Portland Company is wheelchair accessible.
WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO SECURE A HOTEL ROOM?
Harvest on the Harbor official hotel partner is Hyatt Place Portland – Old Port. Rooms must be booked by 9/28 to secure the group rate. CAN I BRING A BABY IN A STROLLER OR CARRIER?
Strollers are acceptable for Shop on the Harbor, Maine Lobster Chef Celebration, Market on the Harbor and Chef Showcase. Otherwise, Harvest events are not appropriate for children.
CAN I BRING MY PET?
Pets are not allowed at Harvest events due to health code restrictions.
IS SMOKING ALLOWED?
Smoking is not allowed indoors at any Harvest on the Harbor events. Smoking outside in designated areas only, please.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
All Harvest on the Harbor events are casual so dress to feel your best!
WHAT WEATHER CONDITIONS SHOULD I EXPECT?
Fall in Maine can be unpredictable. While our events will be held indoors, you may want to bring a jacket or sweater. We will have a self-check area for coats and umbrellas, if necessary.
